Champion Hills Named Best Hiking Community of the Year 2017

Champion Hills is the recipient of Real Estate Scorecard’s 2017 Bliss Award for Best Hiking Community of the Year. Champion Hills is best known for award-winning, year-round golf, but it is our 17 miles of hiking trails that are the subject of adoration this time around.

Set in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, our hiking trails weave throughout our Tom Fazio designed course and the lush natural areas that surround our community, offering hikers some of Western North Carolina’s most dramatic vistas. We offer hikes for all skill levels from the novice to the skilled outdoorsmen with distances ranging from .03 miles to 4.5. We also have select cart path golf course trails for those who would prefer to walk on hardtop paths.
