It’s no surprise that by and large—our members like to golf— and with one of North Carolina’s top ranked courses right in their backyard, who can blame them? No matter if you’re picking up a golf club for the first time or are an avid golfer, we have a golf group for you to help you further your passion for the game and make some friends along the way.
We know that learning the game of golf can be a challenge, and sometimes you just want to go out there and have some fun. That’s why we have a group specifically for those who want to explore the game of golf in a casual setting. Our Get Into Golf group is a selection of group lessons, and non-competitive play that are designed to give the novice golfer the opportunity to play a small selection of holes in a relaxed atmosphere where re-do’s are encouraged, and a member of our professional staff will be in attendance each week to offer insight when needed.
For those seeking more of a challenge, we have groups designated by everything from handicap to tee color and gender. Each day of the week, with the exception of Mondays, you can find a golf group on our Tom Fazio designed course.
Join us for Men’s 9 Hole Skins Group every Tuesday or play 9 holes with the ladies each Thursday. Only want to play on Sunday? We have a group for that too! No matter your skill or interest level, the important part to us is that you’re out on the course making friends, enjoying yourself and making some great shots.

• Ladies' Day
Ladies' Group (May - October), no handicap restrictions, must join the Ladies' Golf Association, 18-hole and 9-hole group, no tee restrictions.
• 18 & 9 Hole Ladies
Ladies' Group (October - April), no handicap or tee restriction.
• Schmidt Group
Men's Group, entry fee varies, no handicap or tee restriction.
• Skins Game – 9 Hole
Men’s Group - 4:00 p.m. $5 cash entry fee and all playing abilities are welcome. You may play from any tee with a maximum of one stroke per hole. You may sign up by contacting the Golf Shop. After the game, gather in the Fazio Pub for some food, drink and tall tales.

Men's Group (May-October), no handicap or tee restrictions. Sign up on ForeTees.
• Chicks with Sticks
Ladies’ group (May-October, no handicap restriction, a relaxed group with loose rules playing 9 holes.
• Challenge Game
Men’s group (November-April], no handicap or tee restrictions.
• Men's Green Tee
Men's Group, no handicap restriction, play from Green / Yellow Tees.
Thursday
• M&M Group
Men's Group, handicap maximum is 18, no tee restrictions.
• Green Tee
Ladies' Group, no handicap restriction, play from Green or Green/Yellow tees (may play from Yellow tees November - April).
• Yellow Tees
Ladies' Group (May - October). No handicap restriction, play from the Yellow tees.
• 9 Hole Ladies

• Get Into Golf
Men and Ladies' Group. This group is for the absolute beginner or for the player that does not take golf seriously. Relaxed rules and re-doss are encouraged. A member of the professional staff will observe play and offer tips when needed
