“These were the best days of my LIFE!!!” Big words from two little campers about our first Camp Champ Kids Camp, that perfectly sums up the experience.
Camp Champ 2019 welcomed twenty-one grandchildren ages 3 to 12 over the Fourth of July weekend.
This fun-packed three-day experience included:
- Golf clinic
- Design your own pizza
- Tennis clinic
- Relaxing yoga class
- Craft time, which included friendship bracelets, slime and painting
- A visit from an artist at Blackbeard Balloons in Asheville, NC
- Pool party featuring Sunshine Sammies Ice Cream Sandwiches from Asheville, NC
- Tours of the Valley Hill Fire Department fire truck
- “Imagine That!” storytime with member-author George Yuhasz
One of our members shared that it was one of her best times as a grandparent. Sharing these 3 days with her grandsons was very special. The staff couldn’t agree more - we had such a great time at Camp Champ 2019 and can’t wait to do it all over again next year!
